She first gained an interest in working with animals as a Jillaroo working in Western Queensland. This interest intensified after working with the Townsville RSPCA, where she trained (and qualified) as a vet nurse, gaining a Certificate in Vet Nursing. Jenny, her husband Paul and their two daughters live on their farm - a developing Droughtmaster stud. Memorable Moment - Seeing her first full anaesthetic horse surgery Pets - - Billie, a 5 year old Australian Cattle Dog - Buddy, a 1 year old Border Collie Cross - Boots, a 1 year old Shorthair Cat - Lady, a 17 year old Thoroughbred, and an assortment of farm animals. Jacinta Stark -Studying Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing Jacinta grew up on a cattle property and has been around horses and cattle all her life. She moved to Childers and hoped to work as a veterinary nurse because she has always enjoyed working with animals Memorable Moment - Seeing long term patient Corey who was suffering from a twisted bladder get well. Pets - Starelle Teak the horse, Emmy the horse and Lu Diamond Phillips the horse. Amy McLennan -Studying Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing Amy is a local from Biggenden and was working in a pharmacy when she decided she needed a change. Amy has always loved animals and decided vet nursing was for her. Memorable Moment - Watching surgery to remove bubble wrap that a dog had swallowed. It was a very long process as the bubble wrap kept breaking into pieces. Pets - Billy the dog, Bear the dog, Sheba the dog and Butch the cat. Toni Pallister -Studying Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing Toni moved to Childers with her partner and started working for Childers Veterinary Clinic this year. Since working for us she has already taken home a stray cat that she named 'Leroy'. Memorable Moment - Helped deliver eleven puppies. Pets - Leroy the cat, Billie the guinea pig, Rosie the bird, Doug the rooster plus 7 chooks. Tiffany Budgen - Studying Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing Tiffany grew up in Childers and has just finished Grade 12. She has worked here on Saturdays for the past 12 months. She loves animals and enjoys working with them. Memorable Moment - Watching the vet repair a turtle's broken shell. Pets - Tigger the cat, Boof the dog and Lucy the dog

Jenny Bowman - Veterinary Nurse Cert IV

Jenny started working at CVC late September 2007 as a vet nurse. She first gained an interest in working with animals as a Jillaroo working in Western Queensland.
