Dr Nicole Ellen Vacher BVSc (Hons) MACVS (Small animal medicine)

Nicole joined the Childers Veterinary Clinic in 1999 after graduating from the University of Queensland with first class Honours. Nicole purchased the practice in October 2006. 

In July 2006 Nicole became a member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in the area of Small Animal Medicine, which requires a number of years of external study and qualifying examinations.

Special Interests: small animal internal medicine  and ultrasonography.

Memorable moments:
· surgery on a crocodile to remove fungal granulomas
· helping an alpaca to give birth 

Pets: 
· Bailey (the lovable larrikan) a three year old male black Labrador
· Maverick (the naughty one) a two year old male Jack Russell



Dr Jack Wong BVSc

Jack is originally from Hong Kong and has been living in Melbourne for the past seven years. He graduated last year and decided to leave Melbourne and came to Childers for a change of pace. He has a keen interest in birds and has a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo in Hong Kong.
